I’m Ashwin
I’m a certified sommelier who left the industry 10 years ago because I didn’t align with its values. Instead, I set out to revolutionize the wine industry by making it fun and approachable again. I’ve distilled my years of knowledge and packed it into an incredible online membership that drops monthly video content about wine centred around frameworks to help you fully understand wine. As a result, I’ve helped thousands of people from all over the world feel more confident about wine.
Together, we’ve built an incredible community where there are no dumb questions and wine is for EVERYONE (not just the elite).

We don’t believe in shiny certificates. We certainly don’t believe in points and ratings. No more sommelier pins and people that worship them.

From there, you can watch on your phone, on a tablet, on a computer, or cast from any of those devices to your TV.

No, because we are focused solely on wine education, and we do not sell wine or alcohol. As soon you start “selling,” you’re no longer teaching as a primary objective, and we are clear that unPINNED is about education.
We have curated the wines for you to purchase either at your local wine store or via our import/distributor/retailer partners. We make no money on this. We did it because we care 🍷❤️.
